
Instead of all this pearl-clutching over legal AI, hallucinations and other obstacles:
Why not let the systems talk to each other?
Electronic filing is already standard, why not let a court AI review an incoming submission for hallucinations and reject it if any are found?
Court clerks already reject non-conforming documents without the need for judicial intervention (page length, word count,epigraphs).
Much might be accomplished if plaintiff AI could talk to defendant AI: a quick list of contested facts, percentage resolution, comparison to other cases. Reliance on such systems could make the need for case filing disappear.
